Grandview LASIK Center Uses Advanced Technology for Superior Results
VICTUS femtosecond lasers emit optical pulses of very short duration (one-quadrillionth of a second). These ultra-short pulses do not emit heat or shock to the corneal surface and make surgical incisions with extreme precision.
When performing all-laser, bladeless LASIK surgery, our surgeons use the VICTUS to create the corneal flap. This technology provides our surgical team exceptional, quick corneal flap creation. There are no blades utilized in all-laser, LASIK surgery.
The VICTUS also includes technology that minimizes the possibility of eye movement or distortion during the flap creation which enables accurate alignment maintaining the natural shape of the eye.
If you have any questions about the use of the VICTUS laser in the procedures at Grandview LASIK Center, or want to know more about how you might benefit from this kind of laser eye technology, please feel free to contact us for more information.
